Evidence for the following can be found in the lives of the MacHamishes.[1] An asterisk (or two or three) against a name is to make it easier to see the shift of a person from one property to another.

Borrobol
Borrobol is secondary to Killernan. Given Alexander Gunn (8,9) was in Borrobol by 1617 who was of Borrobol at that time? No idea. Was ‘in’ a transcription error and was Alexander (8,9) really of Borrobol at that time? Perhaps. Do Gunns lose Borrobol at the same time as Killernan?

[1] The Gunns only had the wadset of these properties – the owner was the Sutherland Estate.
[2] For William MacHamish (4,4), Unknown MacHamish (5,5) and David Gunn (6,6) it is an assumption that these are sons following each other – history does not provide evidence one way or the other. Younger brothers / Uncles, nephews etc are all possible ‘owners’ of the Estate as shown when William Beag’s descendants took over various properties.
