'Fairy-Tale'; a poem by G. K. Chesterton
Captain Sword and Dr. Gunn
Sail the sea beneath the Sun.
All fantastical they stand
Quaint as fishes on the land.
Captain Sword with sparkling luck
Like a sword-fish flashed and struck;
Dr Gunn, with peal on peal,
Exploded like a conger-eel.
1884
