To clarify ''The Gunns: History, Myths and Genealogy' - the official MacHamish Gunns of Killernan line' Ancestor family tree.
The easy way to find it is to go to 'Search', type in William Mhor in 'First and Middle name' then Gunn in 'last name', click 'exact and 'exact' under them both. My tree is first on the list - 'The Gunns: History, Myths and Genealogy' etc.. William Mhor is an interesting person as he is one of the supposed 'Clan Gunn Chiefs'. He died without Issue and the MacHamish Gunn of Killernan line ('Gunn Chief' line) was actually continued by the children of his uncle William Beag. The traditional 'Clan Gunn Chief' line is markedly wrong in many areas... People with green images of my book as face identifiers are the traditional senior 'Gunn Chief' line as modified by my research. People with brown images of my book are also MacHamish Gunns of Killernan who marry into the senior 'green image' line, namely the sister of 'Captain' Alexander Gunn (a 'Gunn Chief') of Badenloch later of Wester Helmsdale. This is the 'Osclay' line from which I descend. The proof for the Tree is in the book and not in Ancestry.

Just thought some might like to know that I have placed the genealogy of Chapter 10 - namely the family tree of the MacHamish Gunns of Killernan - on Ancestry. The support for it, though, is in the book; the tree is but an outline. The MacHamish Gunns are alive and well in various parts of the world, including those descended from Alexander Gunn of Badenloch's sister. The idea that line is extinct, which was one of the fallacies involved in the invention of the 'Clan Gunn Chief' , is just wrong.
The tree is called ''The Gunns: History, Myths and Genealogy' - the official MacHamish Gunns of Killernan line.' I note that my 'The Gunns: History, Myths and Genealogy' now appears on Google search. This means you can raise the book (by entering the book's title) and then search within as much of it as Google search allows, or you can do a search for a name or place or whatever - say William Beag Gunn or Osclay Gunns - and results will appear.
See - books.google.co.uk/books?id=l4jTDwAAQBAJ&pg=PA7&source=gbs_toc_r&cad=3#v=onepage&q&f=false Thought people might like to know I have placed 'The Gunns: History, Myths and Genealogy' as individual chapters (or so) on the below site. You will have to sign in to read, but that is quick, free and easy to do. The book is better laid out!
The site is the world's largest academic sharing site. It's strength is that if a person is researching in an area say, Scottish highland history, the site will recommend various papers / chapters related to that area for the researcher to use such as my Gunn chapters. As previously mentioned, my book will also soon be appearing in google searches. I believe in open access for my book - it's the way to remove the current ludicrous 'Clan Gunn' myths which masquerade as history.to edit. latrobe.academia.edu/AlastairGunn A neW (Clan) Gunn historyTHOUGHT PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW I HAVE JUST PUBLISHED A PAPERBACK VERSION OF MY BOOK 'THE GUNNS, HISTORY, MYTHS AND GENEALOGY.'
